As a valued customer, I am writing to inform you of a delay we are experiencing with our Fluzone^® (Influenza Vaccine) shipments. Unfortunately, this delay will be felt across all Fluzone vaccine presentations. However, we do anticipate that the majority of our doses will ship by the end of October. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this delay has caused you and your patients.

As with all vaccines, potential future delays in production are not always known ahead of time. Please know that Sanofi Pasteur plans to deliver every dose that we committed to produce and will distribute over 65 million doses this influenza season. We are working hard to minimize the impact on your office as much as possible.

Our goal is to continue to supply doses in a manner that supports historical immunization trends, which suggest that the majority of immunizations occur after October 1. We are working toward a common goal of getting your patients immunized prior to peak disease season.
